Somehow, in 2026, my Vault decided to cosplay as a time loop and dumped me back into Season of the Plunder. I’m not mad—well, I’m a little mad—because week ten’s final five Seasonal Challenges are a mixed bag of easy XP and activities that make me question whether I actually enjoy looter shooters. This guide covers Freebooter II, Shaper III, Thunderlight, EDZ Activities, and Intended Authority, plus how to finish them without summoning a mild existential crisis. The XP bar after level 100 is like a cat that refuses to sit in the box you bought it, but these challenges are the treats.

Freebooter II

Freebooter II asks you to open 15 bonus chests from Expedition or Master Ketchcrash and collect 150 Plundered Umbral Energy. I’d tell you to load into Master Ketchcrash, but unless you have a fireteam with coordination better than a six-year-old’s soccer team, just farm Expedition. Each run vomits out a bonus chest, weird glitch aside. The Umbral Energy part is retroactive, so if you’ve been hoarding maps like a dragon with trust issues, you might already be halfway there. Get the Double Plundered Umbral Energy Map upgrade at the Star Chart, because watching two energies drop instead of one is the same low-key thrill as finding an extra fry at the bottom of the bag.

Shaper III

Shaper III is the challenge that separates people who kept their crafted seasonal weapons from people who dismantled them for three legendary shards back in week four. If that’s you, congratulations, you’re now at the mercy of red border drops, and those are rarer than a Crucible teammate who captures zones. You need to craft two Season of the Plunder weapons and level both to 20. Plunder the Star Chart’s red border upgrades like Hidden Compartment and Double Perk Weapon Spoils. For leveling, Shuro Chi is still the equivalent of a treadmill set to 12—boring but effective. The Nightstalker tether trick works too.

Thunderlight

Thunderlight wants 150 kills with Arc or Stasis Supers. Not too bad until you realize your super energy is governed by the same physics as my motivation to clean the Vault on a Tuesday. Farm Ketchcrash or Expedition. Hunter: Arc Staff plus Radian Flux, dance through enemies. Warlock: Stormtrance plus Stormdancer’s Brace; Landfall charges the exotic, then float like a mildly dangerous Tesla coil. Titan: Fists of Havoc or Thundercrash; use Storm Grenades with Touch of Thunder and Heart of Inmost Light plus double Ashes to Assets. You’ll be throwing supers like confetti at a parade.

EDZ Activities

EDZ Activities wants 18 completions of bounties, patrols, public events, and Lost Sectors. This is the challenge where Devrim Kay becomes your emotional support sniper. Grab every bounty, then run your favorite Lost Sector until its geometry is burned into your retinas. Heroic public events give better progress, but sometimes spawning a Heroic event is like teaching a glacier to sprint—public blueberries may not cooperate. Normal Lost Sectors are easier than convincing a Warlock to stop floating. Honestly, 18 activities feels like filling a swimming pool with a thimble while Devrim narrates your life choices.

Intended Authority

Intended Authority is the Vanguard ornament for Cry Mutiny. To get it, reset Vanguard rank and hit Rank 16 with Zavala, who will still look disappointed in you. Fastest method is Heroic Lost Sectors because Nightfalls give more rep than standard Vanguard Ops and matchmaking handles the friendless. Bring champion counters or prepare to be flinched into next Tuesday. The reward is 100,000 XP, 300 Bright Dust, and the Planetstride emblem—a shiny badge that says “I listened to Zavala’s monologues and all I got was this emblem.”

That’s the five. Whether you’re maxing the pass or just here for Bright Dust, week ten is tedious but not impossible. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go explain to my Ghost why we’re farming EDZ Lost Sectors in 2026 like it’s a part-time job.
