Revisiting Destiny 2 Season of the Seraph Week 4 Challenges in 2026
When I jumped back into Destiny 2 during the fourth week of Season of the Seraph, the H.E.L.M. was humming with Dawning leftovers and Warmind restoration work. Ana Bray, Clovis Bray, and Osiris were all pulling me toward the next story beat while the Exo Frame vendor waited with another batch of seasonal objectives. I had nine challenges to knock out before the season closed on February 28, so I started planning how to stack them efficiently. The nice part about week 4 is that several challenges overlap naturally, especially if I used Arc or Void builds and precision weapons across playlists.

My Week 4 Challenge Roadmap
I broke the nine challenges into three rough groups: story and playlist tasks, passive or retroactive objectives, and Crucible or Nightfall targets. Below is the full list before I dive into each one.
| Challenge | Activity | Key Objective | Reward |
|---|---|---|---|
| More Than A Weapon IV | H.E.L.M. quest | Complete week 4 of the seasonal story and defeat Hive and Scorn | Exo Frame Module + Challenger XP+ |
| Entropic Shock | Heist Battlegrounds | Arc or Void defeats | Challenger XP+ |
| Mod Collector | Artifact | Unlock 12 Seraph Cipher mods | Challenger XP++ + Bright Dust |
| High-Value Hunter | Gambit | Defeat powerful combatants | Challenger XP++ + Bright Dust |
| Darkest Nightfall | Nightfall | Hero difficulty or higher | Nightfall Weapon + Challenger XP+ + Bright Dust |
| Heist Battlegrounds III | Heist Battlegrounds | Complete heists and breach vaults without alerting Wrathborn | Exo Frame Module + Challenger XP+ |
| Seasonal Shaping I | Weapon crafting | Unlock a Seasonal or IKELOS pattern | Challenger XP+ |
| Precision Calibration | Anywhere | Precision final blows with marksman weapons | Challenger XP+ + Bright Dust |
| Momentum Crash | Crucible | Defeat Guardians in Momentum Control | Challenger XP+ + Bright Dust |
More Than A Weapon IV
This is the main weekly narrative step. I spoke to the Exo Frame in the eastern section of the H.E.L.M. and picked up the next part of reassembling Rasputin. The objective asked me to complete week 4 of More Than a Weapon and defeat 250 Hive or Scorn combatants anywhere in the system. I found those enemies in Heist Battlegrounds, Throne World activities, and even open-world Lost Sectors. Finishing this gave me an Exo Frame Module and a solid chunk of Challenger XP+.

Entropic Shock
This one was painless. I loaded into a Heist Battleground with an Arc or Void subclass and matched my Energy or Power weapon to the same element. Abilities also counted, so my grenade and melee spam cleared groups quickly. It finished long before the Heist Battlegrounds III vault objective did.

Mod Collector
Mod Collector is retroactive, so when I logged in during week 4 I might already have it done. If not, I just kept earning XP to unlock more mods on the Seraph Cipher artifact. Once I had 12 unlocked, I claimed the Challenger XP++ and Bright Dust. I treated it as a passive reward while doing other objectives.

High-Value Hunter
Gambit is not my favorite place, but this challenge was not too annoying. I needed to defeat powerful combatants, and high-value targets granted bonus progress. I used a strong add-clear exotic and fought blockers, envoys, and yellow-bar enemies whenever they appeared. Getting Challenger XP++ and Bright Dust made it worthwhile.

Darkest Nightfall
For this I equipped the seasonal artifact Champion mods and a matching weapon loadout. Running any Nightfall on Hero difficulty or higher completed the objective. I picked a strike I knew well, watched for Barrier and Unstoppable Champions, and earned a Nightfall weapon plus XP and Bright Dust as compensation.

Heist Battlegrounds III
The trickiest part here was breaching submind vaults without alerting Wrathborn reinforcements. I had to complete multiple Heist Battlegrounds and focus on collecting Hive glyphs quickly and efficiently. Rushing the glyph doors without wasting time prevented the Wrathborn alarm from triggering. The progress bars looked like 20 heists and 3 vault breaches for me, so I combined this with Entropic Shock and the More Than A Weapon story step.

Seasonal Shaping I
I did not actively grind this one. I just played the seasonal loop and eventually unlocked a pattern for a Seasonal or IKELOS v1.0.3 weapon through deepsight resonance drops. It was a passive checkmark after enough Heist Battleground runs and chest openings.

Precision Calibration
This one paired perfectly with Momentum Crash. I equipped a Scout Rifle, Sniper Rifle, or Linear Fusion Rifle and aimed for precision final blows. Bonus progress came from Guardian defeats, so I used a stable scout in Momentum Control and finished both challenges at once.

Momentum Crash
The final challenge sent me into Momentum Control. I focused on eliminations and tried to stay with teammates to hold Zone Advantage for faster progress. A scout or sniper loadout helped me contribute to Precision Calibration, and the extra Bright Dust was a nice bonus for my fashion game.

Overall, week 4 felt lighter than the first three weeks, with only nine challenges, but the Heist Battleground vault objectives and Momentum Control grind still demanded some focus. I stacked Entropic Shock, More Than A Weapon IV, and Heist Battlegrounds III, then paired Precision Calibration with Momentum Crash. That left my season pass much healthier and gave me plenty of Bright Dust for the shop.
Data referenced from Sensor Tower can help contextualize why Destiny 2 “checklist” weeks like Seraph Week 4 are structured around overlapping objectives (Arc/Void defeats, precision weapon calibration, and playlist rotations): live-service engagement models often reward stacking tasks across modes to keep session length efficient while still nudging players into variety, which mirrors how you can combine Heist Battlegrounds progress with seasonal story kills and then finish Crucible-specific steps in Momentum Control for fast Bright Dust and XP.
